Danielle Shallcross, Psy.D. CADC II LLC
Dr. Shallcross completed her bachelor’s degrees at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, double majoring in Psychology and Spanish. In 2003 and 2006, Dr. Shallcross received her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Hawaii School of Professional Psychology/Argosy University-Honolulu.
Dr. Shallcross is currently licensed as a psychologist in Oregon, Wisconsin and New York and a Certified Forensic Evaluator (temporary status), working towards full certification. Dr. Shallcross is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and works with individual who have co-occurring disorder and/or need assessments in Addiction medicine. She is also a certified as a EMDR and is working toward certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
Dr. Shallcross has experience as a licensed psychologist in both New York, Oregon, and Wisconsin providing inpatient and outpatient treatment and evaluation services in a variety of clinical and forensic settings. She works primarily with adults who have severe and persistent mental illness and/or criminal offense histories. She also has specialized training in Transgender Care and has experience working with individual pursuing gender-affirming medical treatment. She completed her internship and post-doctoral experience at Sunset Terrace/ NYU Langone in Brooklyn, NY. Since licensure, dr. Shallcross has worked in an Intensive outpatient Substance Abuse clinic, a Co-Occurring treatment program, Department of Corrections and in private Practice. Since relocating to Oregon in 2017, Dr. Shallcross has worked at the Oregon State Hospital (OSH) as a clinical psychologist. Here, she is responsible for providing mental health specific treatment, offering consultation, and conducting psychological assessments throughout the hospital. She serves as a supervisor for psychology trainees and interns and is active on several committees including the Doctoral training Committee, Diversity Committee, Transgender Consult Team and Internship Training Committee.
Dr. Shallcross is open to accepting referrals for psychological and forensic evaluations in the areas of competency, criminal responsibility, and gender-affirming letter of recommendation. She also sees individuals for psychotherapy.
