My other specialty is working with trauma, complex PTSD and dissociation. I am a Certified EMDR trauma therapist and find this an effective tool to help my clients learn to let go of the pain of the past, live more fully in the present and start developing hope for the future.
I am an intersectional feminist. This means that I recognize there are many layers of experience that influence our views of the world, including race, class, sexual orientation, gender and ability. I work to recognize the ways in which my privilege affects my outlook .
